Detective Stanley Ocean walks the line between justice and obsession, chasing shadows in the neon glow of The Velvet Rope.

That's where he sees her — Amber Sloan, the woman they call Blonde, a storm in stilettos with a past written in scars and silence. They share two days in Room 7 at the Sunset Motel — no promises, just presence.

But when she vanishes after a staged overdose, Ocean realizes she wasn't running from something.

She was running toward it.

And she left a trail — a Queen of Hearts, a burner phone, a voicemail with three words: I love you, Ocean.

Now, he's not just hunting the truth. He's chasing a ghost who might still love him back.
